Power Electronics Supply Chain Event

The APC Power Electronics Spoke is pleased to invite you to a Supply Chain workshop which aims to bring together the views of end users, technology developers and supply chain partners to understand the challenges and opportunities which the Automotive Sector brings.

The event will offer an opportunity to understand the key challenges faced by each part of the community as well as a way to identify relevant collaborative partners, funding programmes and timescales and to develop targeted bids.

This one day event will include presentations from leading industry figures including Mike Mychajluk, Supply Chain & External Engagement Manager for JLR and Garry Wilson, Business Development Director of the APC. Presenters from each part of the community will be asked to present their vision and key challenges with respect to establishing a UK manufacturing solution:

  • Technologies
  • Volumes
  • Timescales
  • Road blocks
  • Routes forward

In the afternoon, from 14:00 to 16:30, you have the opportunity to attend a smaller workshop group and use your expertise to influence how we can address the following challenges:

  • Infrastructure & investment
  • Skills development
  • Short and long term research programmes
  • Funding mechanisms

Please indicate if you would like to attend the workshop event when registering as places will be limited - we will aim to ensure that a fair representation from across the community is engaged.

The event is being held on Wednesday 13th July 2016 at the MTC in Coventry, please see below for further details and how to register.
